Get Back Pain Relief With Lumbar Back Support Exercise Tips
Back pain can completely drain you of any motivation to keep on moving forward. Not to mention it’s also very painful. Most people suffering from lower back pain do not know how to effectively treat it.
So here are some lumbar back support exercise tips you can take if you have lower back pain:
1. Do not work through pain: The structures in your lower back are not like other muscles. They take longer to heal and if you keep pushing things, you can end up with permanent damage. So stop doing all exercise until the pain is completely gone.
2. Eliminate all aggravating activities: This even includes activities outside of the gym. You need to let the pain and swelling in your lower back go all the way down before you start strengthening the muscles that support it or else you will simply make things worse.
3. Work on stabilizers not movers: Another huge mistake, many people with low back pain get on an aggressive program of crunches only to find out that they are making the pain worse. The best approach here is to do movements that work on your stabilizing muscles, not your six pack.
4. Get a lumbar support for your car: They are extremely cheap and will take a tremendous amount of pressure off of your lower back when you drive. And the best part here is that this requires no effort on your part.
5. Get an ergonomic chair: They are very expensive compared to cheap chairs, but very cheap when you consider that they can save your lower back. At the very least, get a used one for some protection. You see, a good chair can be a back saver.
6. Work from the standing position as much as possible: Sitting all day will not only decrease flexibility in your hamstrings, but it will also accelerate degeneration of your discs. And a great way to prevent this is by working from the standing position.
Getting your lower back to full health once it starts bothering you is a great way to prevent permanent and debilitating damage. So don’t delay in taking action and do lumbar back support exercises regularly!
